Priyanka-Shahrukh pairing once again!

Shahrukh Khan has given Tarun Mansukhani a new task, after the director directed a few scenes for his home production “Ra.One”. Now that Dostana 2 is on hold, the Dostana 2 director will pen a fresh script for Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra. Since the suggestion came from Khan, Mansukhani was more than happy to jump at it.

A source reveals, “For now, there is a complete stalemate over the Dostana sequel. Tarun has finished writing the sequel but producer Karan Johar is not happy with the second half. After many rewrites, Mansukhani has now given up. Anyway he is committed to do a film with Karan’s production house, the Priyanka-Shahrukh film might be the thing. Dostana released in 2008 and the director has been raring to start his second film, and has kept himself busy directing commercials”.

Shahrukh Khan opined that since Dostana 2 was on hold, Tarun should come up with something featuring PC and him. The source adds, “Shahrukh Khan has already had a chat with Karan and has expressed his desire for the Dostana director to come up with a subject for the pair”.

While details on the project are now known, the source confirms that Tarun is quite excited with the prospect of writing a plot for them, “He has already shown interest and will begin work on a script”.

Priyanka so thrilled to work with Shahid!

A befitting tale for the lovey-dovey couple who can’t seem to have enough of each other. Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor could not have hoped for a better film than one chronicling 100 years of romance.

Director Kunal Kohli is readying to direct his next film which will be an out and out love story spanning a time period of 100 years. The lead roles in the film will be played by Priyanka and Shahid, who, as everyone from the movie buffs to income tax guys know, are in a relationship.

When Priyanka heard the narration of this century-long love story, that too with Shahid, she was reportedly so thrilled that she made changes in her dates diary to accommodate Kunal’s film, likely to go on the floors in May this year.

Presently, Kunal is finalizing the shooting locations for the film. He hasn’t zeroed down on the movie’s title yet, but is open to suggestions.

Priyanka Chopra harassed in public!

Mumbai, Feb 20 – Actress Priyanka Chopra got into a heated verbal argument with a man in Delhi while promoting her just released film ‘7 Khoon Maaf’. He was out to rattle her.

The incidnet happened Tuesday evening at the recording of an interactive interview. A man, apparently from Punjab, piped in to accuse her of ‘not being a Punjabi’.

Said a member of Priyanka’s entourage: ‘Priyanka was taken aback by the accusation. At first she laughed it off saying she is very much Punjabi. But the man kept piping in loudly with his allegation. Priyanka finally told him to shut up and quit before he faces the consequence of her wrath.’

The man soon after disappeared from the venue, but Priyanka, known to be extremely warm to fans, was hurt by the vehemence of the accusation.

Apparently the man kept insinuating she had done nothing for Punjab and Punjabis.

The spokesperson for ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ confirmed the incident adding: ‘It was weird and inopportune. Priyanka’s Punjabiyat had nothing to do with the occasion. We don’t know where the man came from and where he disappeared to. But the whole incident was suspicious.’

Priyanka’s father is Punjabi while her mother is from Jharkhand.

Priyanka spent her growing years in Rai Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. This is the first time her Punjabi antecedents were questioned, and that too in full public view.

She is far from amused.

Sleepy Shahid spotted in Priyanka Chopra’s house!!

It was around 7.30 am in the morning when IT officials went in for a raid at Priyanka Chopra’s residence in Versova and Oops!! It was not sexy Priyanka Chopra who greeted them but it was her great friend Shahid Kapoor who opened the door for them in mere shorts looking sleepy and shocked.

The IT officials were equally shocked and for a moment, they thought they had raided the wrong sixth floor apartment in Classic Building on Yari Road but then they realized….

Now, obviously Shahid could not leave immediately. So, he stayed there for sometime and later left the house after getting dressed. It came out later that Shahid had spent the night at Priyanka’s place and she had come from walking the ramp at a fashion show for Shabana Azmi. The two are trying to spend as much time together before PC starts the promotions for her movie Saat Khoon Maaf.

A senior I-T official confirmed that nearly 70 officers drawn from various units raided 12 properties belonging to Chopra and Katrina Kaif yesterday in connection with alleged tax evasion. The officials sealed 12 lockers and verification of documents continued till late in the evening. Officials said many documents were seized from Chopra’s residence, which was created by merging five flats. The residence of Capt Dr Ashok Chopra, the former Miss World’s father, at Lokhandwala was also raided.

“The actresses have done many stage shows abroad. They took more money by cheque to get more exemption and then returned some of it in cash after returning to India. The said money is not reflected in their I-T returns,” said an officer. “The raids are still continuing,” said I-T Director General (investigation) B P Gaur.

All we can now think of is the statement Shahid Kapoor gave on a popular chat show barely a month ago saying, “If I woke up as Priyanka Chopra one day, I would wonder what I was doing in Shahid Kapoor’s bedroom and then walk over to my flat in the next wing.”

The only fifference here is that here Shahid Kapoor wakes up in Priyanka Chopra’s bedroom!!

Priyanka Chopra To Be The Nation’s Green Ambassador

As per the latest news, the Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has decided to be the nationwide green ambassador so as to kick off several eco-friendly campaigns in India. This information has been revealed by the Environment and Forests Minister Jairam Ramesh.

Mr.Ramesh says that he has been speaking to Priyanka regarding several environment-riendly campaigns, which would take place on a national basis. There are projects like tiger conservation as well as river cleaning. Priyanka has given her consent to carry out such projects further.

 

The actress is, at present, the green ambassador for an environment campaign kicked by Greenathon. She was also there to announce Green Awards. Thus we can see, she has plunged into the eco-friendly activities.

 

She said that it feels great to be the national green ambassador. Other personalities present at the show, included Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) chief RK Pachauri, Prannoy Roy and several officials from Toyota.

Ranbir,Priyanka funny activities during shooting!

Bollywood hot stars Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are presently shooting for the film Anjaana Anjaani and the duo is playing pranks like no one else.

Buzz up!They are in fact having a series of fun-filled activities along with the shooting. In one such activity, Ranbir Kapoor actually drenched Priyanka by pouring cold drinks over her.

 

According to one source, in one of the scenes, Ranbir and Priyanka had to fight with each other and the scene required them to throw soft drinks.

 

In reality, they kept on arguing and playing pranks on each other. However, the funny part started when the shooting commenced. Ranbir got so carried away with the scene that he took a complete carton and poured it completely on Priyanka. It is said that her clothes were drenched and her make-up was ruined.

 

The shoot had to be called off for three hours. She had to get her make up on again and change clothes.

Hrithik,Priyanka appeared together on-screen 5 years back

Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra had last appeared together on-screen five years back with ‘Krrish’ and the duo exuded excellent chemistry together. Now, Dharma Productions has decided to bring the two together for the remake of ‘Agneepath’ where Hrithik is to play the lead role of Vijay Dinanath Chavan.

‘Angeepath’ will be directed by debutant Karan Malhotra and Priyanka will play Hrithik’s love interest played by Madhavi in the original film.

 

It may be mentioned here that the original ‘Agneepath’ was produced by Karan Johar’s father Yash Johar. Karan has made just a few minor changes to the script, to suit the contemporary time. However, the dialogues originally penned down by Kader Khan will remain the same. Sadly, Mithun Chakraborty’s south Indian character which was a landmark role in itself will be missing in this remake.

Priyanka Chopra is all geared up to show her derring-do. The hot lady slips into a biker’s gear to do a risky stunt for the promo of her upcoming TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 3.

Priyanka donned denim hot pants with a broad belt, knee-length boots, cropped yellow and black layered tops, and a black leather biker jacket with gloves.

Priyanka Chopra’s one tight slap!

Priyanka Chopra hit back at a man who misbehaved with her outside her vanity van where she was shooting in Colaba.  A young guy, maybe in 20s, caught hold of Priyanka the instant she stepped out to join her colleagues after the day’s shoot for her forthcoming movie with Zayed Khan, directed by Siddharth Anand.“Priyanka ended her shoot and went back to her vanity van to alter. After some time, she stepped out to join Siddharth Anand and Tarun Mansukhani sitting in a diverse enclosure, from where they were all invented to go for dinner. Unexpectedly, a man came running towards her and demanded, ‘You must talk to me!’”

One eye witness said. “At this point, the man grabbed her arm almost and pulled her close to him. Stunned at his aggressiveness, Priyanka, shot back at him, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ But the man was in no mood to listen and did not let go of her arm. An angry Priyanka slapped the guy hard, sending him reeling,” sources said.At this point, a few members from the cast and crew who had been watching the event from a distance came to Priyanka’s free. “They caught hold of that guy. After talking to him for a bit, they let him go,” sources added.

“The actress did not file a police complaint. She didn’t want to pursue the issue and make it difficult. That guy deserved a tight slap. In fact, Priyanka should have slapped him harder for his bravery.”  A close friend of Priyanka said.

Priyanka Chopra now in delhi

After a shooting schedule in the beautiful Kashmir valley, the unit of Vishal Bharadwaj’s film Saat Khoon Maaf, shifted base to New Delhi during the weekend.

And Priyanka, who had been tweeting about her wonderful experience of shooting in Kashmir, shot at Nizamuddin on Friday morning. She also shot at the Old Fort near central Delhi later in the day.

 

On Saturday, she shot inside an art gallery. Shooting was also scheduled to happen at India Habitat Centre in south Delhi but it was cancelled. As soon as the shoot wrapped up, the actress flew back to Mumbai.

 

In the film, she plays the wife of seven husbands and therefore sports as many looks.

Priyanka shoots despite ill health

Priyanka Chopra is a true professional. She realized she had a dust allergy when she was shooting for a reality show recently. However, she continued to shoot for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf in one of Kashmir’s dustiest locations According to sources, the team had to shoot in a very dusty location in Kashmir.

Priyanka was no doubt rough but she didn’t complain and shot her scenes.Since Priyanka had been in a similar condition earlier, she took precautions right away. She didn’t mention the allergy to the director and everybody assumed she was sneezing because of the cold weather in Kashmir.

Priyanka headed to her hotel after pack-up, where her sneezing didn’t stop but she felt slightly better. She was sneezing again the next morning but she controlled it and was feeling better. Priyanka believes that one has to do what they can for their film and didn’t really feel this was a big deal.
