Sonakshi Sinha unwilling in doing a ‘south film’!

The journey of any aspiring Bollywood actress is incomplete without working in a Tamil film. The likes of Aishwarya Rai, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and many others had done some project or the other in South during their early days of career. In fact Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra and Genelia actually made their film debut in a Tamil movie.

Of late the buzz is it that ‘Dabangg’ beauty Sonakshi Sinha has been also approached for a tri-lingual (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) film to be directed by Selvaraghavan with the super star Kamal Haasan in the lead.

While you may feel, it’s truly a great opportunity for the Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter sources say, the lady is apprehensive about doing a ‘south film’ when she is an actress of demand in Bollywood.
But doing a film with a legend like Kamal Haasan is a dream come true opportunity for any actress and we hope better sense prevails in Sonakshi.

The Khans are together!

Guess what, the Khans are together. Shah Rukh and Salman, that is. Absolutely, side by side. Hah, gotcha! In frames that is, clicked by celeb foto genius Dabboo Ratnani, no less.

Hopes of seeing the Khans together in the future might possibly be restricted to this round of proximity. Dabboo Ratnani held a recent exhibition of the frozen images clicked by him and star attendance, expectedly was in no deficit.

The latest hot shot: Sonakshi Sinha zoomed into the DB exhibition looking rather dishy in her white ensemble. And in a dramatic twist that's likely to soar up the photo value of the snap… she posed exactly in the middle… flanked by SRK on one hand and mentor Salman on the other!

Incidentally, SRK's "patch up moves" on Karan Johar's chat show have gotten the (star) goat of Salman. The explosive Khan is all set to lose his shirt some more, over SRK's comments.

"If he really wanted us to patch up, he could have called me or come to my house," rants Salman in a tabloid chat. "Expressing regret on a chat show makes no difference to me. Shah Rukh's doing this so that I'm hounded by the media over his question for the next one year. I'll not accept such drama."

Sonakshi Sinha's fake bikini pic upsets Salman‎

Sonakshi Sinha in bikini on Maxim is a fake image, that we all know. But the image has left many people fuming, especially her mentor Salman Khan.

It’s learnt that Salman, who has taken Sonakshi under his wings, had told her not to do the photoshoot with Maxim. Sonakshi too was never keen to go that bold; in fact, for Maxim photoshoot she has donned short dresses that aren’t much revealing. But the actress was shocked to see a leading website publish the fake Maxim image of her in bikini.

She flays the publication and tweets, “Would’ve been smart if they checked out the magazine before writing whatever they felt like. It's not about me anymore but about their credibility.”

Sonakshi Sinha & Shahid Kapoor work together

Sonakshi Sinha & Shahid Kapoor work together in Kunal Kohli's Movie: Sonakshi Sinha will reportedly romance Shahid Kapoor in Kunal Kohli's Next - Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Tumhara Hamara. Kunal Kohli announced the project over his Twitter account on Saturday, November 27. "Shahid Kapur and me working together in my next film. Will hopefully sign the heroine in the next few days. Will keep you posted :-)," he tweeted. Pritam will reportedly score the music for the film and Prasoon Joshi will write the lyrics.

Production for the film will start in April 2011. Sonakshi who made her Bollywood debut with Dabangg in September, now has three films on hand. Hari Om Entertainment's Joker (Pre Production) directed by Shirish Kunder with co-star Akshay Kapoor. Janam Janam Ka Saath Hai Tumhara Hamara (Announced) directed by Kunal Kohli with co-star Shahid Kapoor. Sajid Nadiadwala production Kick Remake to be directed by Shirish Kunder with co-star Salman Khan.

The actress, described as a siren on the cover, poses sensuously with the shoulder strap of her black gauzy dress pulled down. Sonakshi who considers herself more a fashion designer than an actress impresses us with her subdued oomph on the cover.

Sonakshi also revels her strict regimen for losing weight and staying fit. "You know I have lost 30 kgs in the past one year. I was studying Fashion Designing. During this time, I decided to get into modeling. So I just had to lose weight. So I've been swimming, cycling, running for the past one year - and it's paid off," says miss Sinha.

Sonakshi Sinha wowed with her freshness and natural beauty on a night out with Dabangg lover boy Salman Khan and family on Thursday evening 15 July. She watched a special screening of “Tere Bin Lden” with the Khans at Ketnav Preview Theater in Pali Hill, Khar, Mumbai.

The adorable 23 year old was modestly attired in white Bermuda short, red cardigan with three quarter length sleeves atop a grey floral print scoop neckline skinny top. A funky print handbag, red bellarina flats, gold nose ring, her long stylishly layered cut tresses combined with a high wattage smile left us completely floored. Sonakshi’s sartorial tastes are a reminder that being in harmony with who you are is more important to your sense of style than designer clothes and luxury brand makeup and accessories.

Way to go Sonakshi! The Dabangg girl was all praises for the comedy “Tere Bin Laden”. She tweeted after watching the movie, “Everybody please go watch Tere Bin Laden! Fantastic film! Super funny”!

 

Sonakshi was seen walking out of the cinema hall with Salman’s parents, holding hands with Salman’s mom, Salma Khan. She rode back with them in their car. Sonakshi who plays a headstrong girl from Lalgani town of UP in her debut film Dabangg says the audience will see a junoir shotgun as she does imbibe her father Shatrughan Sinha’s style of acting.

 

She recently told Indian Express, “There is a subtle resemblacne between us onscreen, but that’s natural”. Dabangg is due in theaters on 10 September.
