Farhan, Hrithik & Abhay: The Bromancers

If it's a flick about male bonding and friends having fun together, then the cast of Excel Entertainment's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara is making sure that they go the whole hog in keeping with the spirit of the movie.

Farhan, Hrithik & Abhay: The Bromancers

When we met the film's actors Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol in Delhi, the threesome convinced us that their bonding on the sets is the stuff 'bromantic' lore is made of! And there's no way you couldn't believe them, seeing the camaraderie on display.

We asked them if they had any pre-conceived notions about each other that were broken when they met on the sets. Even though Farhan has directed Hrithik in Lakshya, this is the first time they are facing the camera together. Abhay gave us the no-nonsense straight take first, saying, "I don't ever judge people because I often get judged myself. People say, 'We thought you were like this, but you aren't.' So, I don't judge. But I had a great time on the sets. It's a movie about friends going out to travel, having fun and indulging in adventures. That's what we did. I always thought Farhan seemed cool and chilled out, but was also intense. And he is exactly like that. I've known Hrithik for a while, and he's always been a gentleman. That part of him has never changed."

Farhan and Hrithik, meanwhile, convinced us that the three of them were actually bromancing each other on the sets. Said Farhan, "We came alone, and we went alone together! But seriously, it would've been sad had we not bonded. Abhay and I flew to Spain together and by the time we reached the hotel, I knew everything Abhay had done. He'd told me everything."

Before Abhay could react, Hrithik said, "I don't think anyone had any pre-conceived notions about anyone, so we just discovered more about each other. In fact, we really grew close. The only thing we didn't really do was get intimate!"

Before he could complete what he was saying, Farhan chipped in to say, "We got really bromantic with each other." Hrithik simply put the icing on the cake by concluding our conversation saying, "Yeah, he's right. We got so bromantic, to the extent that we had to stop just before getting intimate. Need we say more?" We think not!
