Preity Zinta host TV show 'Guinness World Records': There is a long queue among Bollywood stars to host shows on the small screen. Take an example of Preity Zinta who is back in the spotlight with the TV show "Guinness World Records - Ab India Todega". After keeping a low profile for quite some time, the actress is foraying into small screen. She explains that her decision to host TV shows is completely spontaneous. She recalls that she chose acting as career in the same way.

Shekhar Kapoor gave her a big lecture on how to become a good star and she flipped a coin and asked if she should get into acting?, she adds. It had been two years since her last hit - 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna'. Similarly, she entered cricket - the IPL- in 2008. Incidentally, even as his one-time co-star Preity Zinta moves to the small screen, Sunny Deol is also contemplating the same. Sources say that a leading channel has approached the actor to host a stunt-based reality show. However, Sunny may have to beat off competition from Bollywood's other macho man, Sanjay Dutt. The show is titled "Jaanbaz" that needs a macho star and Sunny is the forerunner to host it. The channel sources, however, say they are in talks with both actors. Well, given the fact that Sanju baba is looking more like an overworked daddy rather than an action star these days, the small screen sun may just shine brighter for Sunny.

The story doesn't end here. Other stars, and relatively seniors, aren't far behind. Who will be the host of the desi version of popular reality show, Survivor? Word is that John Abraham is the biggest contender so far for this slot, although the names of Ajay Devgn and Arjun Rampal have cropped up too. Industry sources say the channel is eyeing the three because of their fit and fab image that would match the nature of the show perfectly. This could be John's TV debut. However Ajay and Arjun are TV old timers. Ajay was a judge on show "Rock and Roll" family with wife Kajol and mother-in-law Tanuja, while Arjun was a judge on "Nach Baliye 4". Interestingly, reality show "Survivor" is about the struggle of a group of people marooned on an island to outwit nature and each other! Great.
