Kangna Ranaut

Kangna Ranaut was born on 20 March 1987. She is an Indian Bollywood actress who made her Bollywood debut in 2006 with the film Gangster. Kangna won both a Filmfare and a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her outstanding performance as a troubled model in Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion in 2008.


Kangna Ranaut did her schooling in Chandigarh, Punjab from DAV model school Sector 15. She then moved to Delhi to become a successful model and joined the Elite Modelling Agency situated in Delhi in 2003 with the prospect of becoming a model.

Later, Kangna starred in yet another Anurag Basu project, the superhit film Life In A..Metro. Her last successful film was a thriller Raaz-The Mystery Continues opposite Emraan Hashmi. The actress will be seen opposite Ajay Devgn in her upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai..
