The actress, who never shies away from speaking out her mind, was left enraged after rumours that her famous dimple was ‘created’ after plastic surgery.

And Kangana Ranaut falls down

Kangana Ranaut is going to be out of action for at least week, after having sustained a minor fracture following a bike accident. The actress was shooting in Punjab for her movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ when it happened. She was shooting a scene where she’s riding a bike, and she also happened to be wearing ghungroos on her feet.

The actress lost her balance, and when the bike spun out of control, she hurt herself. What added to the injuries were the ghungroos on her feet, which pierced her skin an led to bleeding on her feet.
Following the accident, Kangana has been advised bed rest for a week.

We hope the actress takes it easy and gets well soon. And that she’s more careful when riding bikes, while wearing traditional Indian accessories like the ghungroo!

Bipasha Basu learns Bhojpuri for film

Only a few days back, Katrina Kaif  got her fans frenzied as she spoke Bhojpuri in Bihar during a promotional event for her upcoming flick ‘Raajneeti’. And now, Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu is all set to give ‘Bihar Ki Beti’ Katrina a tough competition! Bips, who has pulled off several bold roles with élan in some of her blockbuster movies in the past, has taken up something completely different this time round.

The actress has been roped in for Priyadarshan’s next venture, whereby she would be seen in an absolutely de-glamourised role. Not just that, Bollywood’s Bengali beauty Bips is reportedly learning hardcore Bhojpuri these days, as she would be playing an ordinary Bihari woman in the same. Reports reveal that Bips will be seen wearing cotton sarees and mouthing Bhojpuri dialogues in the upcoming flick, for which she’s been attending special tuitions for quite sometime now.

It’s been revealed that the film is based on the real-life honour killings that take place in Bihar, and Bipasha is ditching make-up and is learning to take on an accent to portray a simple Bihari woman in the same.

Hrithik Roshan is a nervous wreck. He just released the music of his forthcoming film ‘Kites’ and is waiting for feedback on it.He has incidentally sung a song in the film and that is what makes him so anxious.“It’s finally time to face the music! Literally! Yup, I have sung for kites, rather tried to! Idea was to be honest to the grammer so no lip sync!” says Hrithik.

Interestingly he gets embarrassed as people ask him about the song.  He however requests everyone to give the opinions only once they have heard him on a proper CD and not on TV.“I hope I am not judged by telecast sound quality. Please give me your feedback only once you have heard the CD!” he says. His fans are already pouring in with praises though across the net.

Priyanka shoots despite ill health

Priyanka Chopra is a true professional. She realized she had a dust allergy when she was shooting for a reality show recently. However, she continued to shoot for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf in one of Kashmir’s dustiest locations According to sources, the team had to shoot in a very dusty location in Kashmir.

Priyanka was no doubt rough but she didn’t complain and shot her scenes.Since Priyanka had been in a similar condition earlier, she took precautions right away. She didn’t mention the allergy to the director and everybody assumed she was sneezing because of the cold weather in Kashmir.

Priyanka headed to her hotel after pack-up, where her sneezing didn’t stop but she felt slightly better. She was sneezing again the next morning but she controlled it and was feeling better. Priyanka believes that one has to do what they can for their film and didn’t really feel this was a big deal.

Hansika Motwani’s account hacked!

Bollywood actress Hansika Motwani, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Ka Suroor, is very disturb after Facebook ID is hacked. That person not only got into her account but also changed her password and now the actress cannot access her account.Hansika got to know that her ID was hacked when she couldn’t access her account due to an invalid password.

Hansika says, “I was really very concerned as I was not able to access my account and was also not able to chat with my friends.Also I was scared that the person who had hacked into my account would be misusing it which would have caused me and my friends a great deal of stress. Thankfully I was able to contact Facebook and reset my password.

But it took all of five days when I left from the world that is Facebook.”

Hydrophobic Ranbir Kapoor went underwater

Not lots of people know that Ranbir Kapoor has hydrophobia. And his phobia of water came to haunt him during a current shoot for a dream adventure game for a cola brand. Ranbir had to stay underwater for about four hours for the shoot and was quite nervous to begin with. However, it was actor Sanjay Dutt who came to Ranbir’s rescue. Even Sanjay was part of the same shoot.

A source present on the sets says, “Ranbir chose to perform his own stunts without a body double. In spite of having hydrophobia, he went ahead and shot for the four-hour underwater sequence himself.”  The source adds, “Sanjay Dutt had already done underwater stunts effectively in films like Blue.So Ranbir Kapoor decided to take his guidance to overcome his phobia.

Sanjay went through the entire drill of pulling off an underwater stunt with Ranbir and that really gave him a lot of assurance. Now, he has said goodbye to his fear forever

Asin in trouble

Asin came to Bollywood with a bang with Ghajini and later everything was brought to dust when London Dreams flopped. She was being touted as the next big Sridevi who could take over Bollywood. But as the Vipul Shah film flopped poorly, she doesn’t have takers. And mind you the film was riding on the shoulders of Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan.

Asin who had by that time started showing a lot of irritability and attitude at commercial shoots as well as when it came to taking script narrations has been pulled back by a few yards now.Asin is wondering what her next step should be. Should she wait for some more better offers to come her way or should she pack her bags up and go back home.

Amitabh Bachchan and Amar Singh still friends

Amitabh Bachchan and previous Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh shared a stage in Pune Yesterday though the latter has criticised the superstar’s wife Jaya Bachchan’s decision to remain with the Samajwadi Party.The pair – who have always described themselves as ‘family friends’ – seemed to enjoy the limelight as they came together at the Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communications on the city’s outskirts. Contradictory to earlier reports, Akshay Kumar becomes the top tax-payer in Bollywood, yet again. Akki has pipped to the post stars like Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan to top the list.

And now we understand why Akki was chosen to feature in the ad by the Income-Tax Department to promote compliance with taxes. Surprisingly, the star had no big hits last year, and all his mega-budget films Chandni Chowk to China, Kambakkht Ishq and Blue bombed at the box office. Then too, he paid an advance tax of Rs 9 crore in March 2010, reveals a daily. Now, his total advance tax payment in the current financial year is of Rs 18 crore. Last year, he paid a sum of Rs 31 crore as taxes.

 

However, according to some media reports, it was Shahrukh as the top tax-payer but he reportedly comes in the third position. Aamir ranks second with the advance payment of Rs 12 crore.

 

Among others top tax-payers are Abhishek Bachhcan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor who joins the league this year with an advance tax payment of Rs 2.1 crore.

Reports suggest that the much talked about Anurag Basu flick ‘Khamoshi’ will not only have Ranbir and Katrina but also Priyanka in the lead role.

 

Thereby, leaving little or no chance for any romantic alliance between the dishy Kapoor scion and his latest fixation Kat. Confirming the news a source said, “Anurag Basu is currently trying to finalise.

Kajol little worried about the dance steps in Stepmom!

She may be pregnant but that hasn’t deterred Kajol from working as hard as she does. While shooting for a song for Siddharth Malhotra’s remake of Stepmom, Kajol had to do some energetic dance steps. She had to be able to do as fine a job as Elvis Presley did in Jailhouse Rock, seeing as that was the song she was shooting for. The filmmakers have bought the rights of the song.

Buzz up!Kajol was a little worried about the dance steps affecting her health. She wasn’t too sure about the steps when choreographers Bosco and Ceaser showed them to her during rehearsals. She asked them to tone the steps down considerably.

 

The steps were changed as per her request but as the shoot went on, she started to enjoy it and as it is one of her favourite songs, she danced along with the rhythm of the song. Finally, she ended up doing something similar to what the choreographers had earlier planned.

 

The film team was naturally concerned and was very alert throughout. In one portion, she was supposed to dance on a piano. Though Kajol wasn’t worried about it, the unit was very protective. The director even suggested that the sequence could be done away with but Kajol had no qualms doing it.

 

In the film, Kajol plays Arjun Rampal’s ex-wife while Kareena plays his girlfriend. Both Arjun and Kareena were part of the song too.

 

According to the director, all of the actors have just put in their best into the song and they enjoyed shooting for it. He hopes that the fun they had while shooting is reflected when audiences see the song.

Katrina Kaif ended up getting hurt while shooting a groovy dance sequence with Akshay Kumar for Farah Khan’s film Tees Maar Khan at Malshej Ghat.


A few hours’ drive from Mumbai.It appears that both Katrina and Akshay were in a groovy mood and wanted to put.

Their best foot forward while filming a ballet-like dance sequence on Friday. However, due to some mistiming in the dance move or perhaps they got too close, Katrina’s head bumped into Akshay’s jaw and teeth.

Strangely, nothing happened to Akshay but Katrina got injured on her head and felt dizzy and disoriented after the bump.

While Farah Khan rushed to look after her, Akshay was in a jocular mood and scared Katrina further by saying that she would have to get a few stitches.

Sources close to Bollywood Hungama say, "The parent company of Spice Mobiles (B.K Modi Group), is now all set to launch a high quality phone (S-1200, to be precise), that will have a whopping 12 Mega pixel camera with 3 X optical zoom! The source also adds that since they are all gung-ho about this product, they were looking for someone who can effortlessly carry the brand on her shoulders, and needles to say that Sonam Kapoor fitted the bill like a 'T'. That's why they signed her on immediately!"

 

With this endorsement, the ad world sees yet another shuffling of brand ambassadors as Sonam replaces Katrina as face of Spice Mobiles.

Katrina Kiaf excited to be an item girl

Katrina Kaif has never been known to raise her voice, let alone act aggressive, in public.

But the actress is set to change that and more for Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, in which she plays an item girl. Suddenly, Katrina’s manner and speech have become loud and demonstrative. Even early in the morning at Malshej Ghat, where the film is currently being shot.

The schedule begins at 5am every morning and the actress is not letting up in her own effort to look different. In each of the item songs, being choreographed by Farah and her assistant Gita. In fact Katrina has even shopped for her character’s look, right from clothes to accessories.

In small shops that sell cheap stuff. Commenting on her shopping frenzy, Katrina says, “It is a challenge doing. A complete look for my character. I guess I learnt that from Raajneeti. Every accessory makes you feel more like the character.”

Abhishek Bachchan dances with the girls!

It was the historic city of Udaipur that Abhishek Bachchan visited this week for National Bingo Night. Not only did he enter the stage to the popular Delhi 6 song Genda Phool, he also made a point to greet the studio audience and his viewers with a very chaste Rajasthani greeting, ‘Kesariya Baalam, padharo mharo des!’

 

The first contestant on this week’s show is a tourist driver Rakesh Sharma, who’ll be playing for the grand prize of a Maruti SX4. Abhishek decides to add a little more excitement to his game by giving Rakesh three bonus balls worth a lakh each. Well, it was a little surprising when Rakesh actually went on to win two of those three lucky balls!

 

The next contestant manages to surprise Abhishek with a unique present. Jitendra Verma decided to surprise him by bringing some of his female friends on the stage, who were dressed in traditional Rajasthani outfits and performed a little folk dance number for AB Jr and the audience! Abhishek joins in the pretty girls trying to pick up a step or two.

Priyanka Chopra avoiding hollywood offer!

The likes of Mallika Sherawat or Freida Pinto would jump at the prospect of a Hollywood offer, but our desi girl seems to have no time for it. Priyanka Chopra recently declined to star in the film ‘Dawn Of War’, which has now Freida instead of her.

And the reason for her refusal is that she has given dates for a Bollywood film, namely Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ and has already started shooting for the most challenging role of her life. In fact, she started preparing for it during the Anjaana Anjaani shooting schedule in the US.

 

As a source tells a daily, Tarsem Singh, the director of ‘Dawn Of War’, wanted Piggy Chops for his film but as her date-dairy was choc-a-block, she chose, for obvious reasons, Vishal’s film. And, since Tarsem was in a hurry to finalize the cast, he signed Freida opposite the actor Henry Cavill for his war-epic.

Priyanka is now in Kashmir, shooting for ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’.

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori got wet together!

Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori reportedly got wet together in the rain for a sequence for director Anurag Basu’s film Kites while shooting on Las Vegas.

It goes without saying that shooting a rain sequence in any bustling American city isn’t easy. Rakesh Roshan, producer of the film, had to get required permissions and block the road for a few hours and call in the tankers to create artificial rain. On top of it, the rain sequence, we hear, was shot in the morning to capture the soothing blue light of the rising sun.

 

Since light changes in the morning in a matter of minutes, everyone was on their toes during the shoot. The onus was on Hrithik and Barbara to give a perfect take. And boy, we hear, the two sizzled together in the rain.

 

Set for release in May this year, ‘Kites’ also stars Kangana Ranaut. But it’s the chemistry between Hrithik and Barbara that’s on everyone’s tongue.

Lautner, Miley Cyrus win Kids’ Choice Awards

It’s slime time! Katy Perry, Jonah Hill couldn’t dodge the green goo

"Twilight" star Taylor Lautner picked up two orange, blimp-shaped trophies at Saturday's 23rd annual shenanigan-packed Nickelodeon spectacle inside UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. Lautner snared the favorite actor honor for his "New Moon" role as hunky werewolf Jacob Black as well as the inaugural cutest couple award with his "Twilight" co-star Kristin Stewart.

"I have to admit I have always dreamt of winning one of these orange blimps," said Lautner.

Just Say No: The 10 Worst-Sounding New TV Pilots

We love TV network pilot season because it's filled with such potential. So many shows in their infancy, casting announcements flying around, the anticipation of something new from our favorite showrunners... But while many of the announced pilots already have us praying for full-season pick-ups, there are plenty of others that we hate based on what little we know about them. Here are the potential shows that we hope don'tmake it to the fall lineup.

10. "Kindreds" (NBC)
A grouchy patent lawyer and a group of oddball associates work at a quirky law practice. Yeah, we like Kathy Bates, Ben Chaplin, and Brittany Snow but this seems like the most predictable David E. Kelley show yet. We can do without another "Ally McBeal."

9. "Body of Evidence" (ABC)
Speaking of overcrowded genres, this series — starring Dana Delany and Jeri Ryan — is about a neurosurgeon/medical examiner who butts heads with her bosses. Because, you know, there aren't approximately 12 million surgeons, CSIs, and MEs on TV already.

8. "Who Gets the Parents?" (ABC)
The plot of this one pains us. It's a sitcom about grown adults having a hard time adjusting to their parents' divorce. We don't care that it stars Adam Arkin and Jane Kaczmarek, it just sounds awkwardly stupid.

7. "Cutthroat" (ABC)
So take a dash of "Alias" and a heaping helping of "Weeds" and stir them in a pot and you get this mess of a show. Mia Maestro is starring as a single mother running a drug cartel out of her suburban Beverly Hills house. Please, ABC, don't pick up this show.

6. "This Little Piggy" (NBC)
Warning: Vanessa Minnillo is trying to act. Worse, she's trying to be funny in a contrived-sounding sitcom about siblings who move into the house they inherited from their parents. Did we mention the show has Vanessa Minnillo in it?

5. "Untitled Wyoming Project" (CW)
This new offering from "Gilmore Girls" guru Amy Sherman-Palladino is about a guy who moves to a ranch in Wyoming to take care of his three little sisters. Since we watched every single episode of "Gilmore," we should be optimistic, right? No. Because we also saw "The Return of Jezebel James."

4. "Defenders" (CBS)
Jerry O'Connell and Jim Belushi star as "fiery Las Vegas defense attorneys." Doesn't sound so bad... until you realize that it isn't a sitcom. Not sure we want to see (or would buy) either of these guys as hard-hitting lawyers.

3. "S--t My Dad Says" (CBS)
This one seems problematic from the get-go, given that it's based on a Twitter account, has a title that will likely need to be changed and sounds pretty formulaic. Even casting William Shatner doesn't convince us that this show should live long and prosper.

2. "Hawaii Five-O" (CBS)
The show's cast is a geek smorgasbord that includes Daniel Dae Kim ("Lost), Alex O'Loughlin ("Moonlight"), Grace Park ("Battlestar Galactica"), and James Marsters ("Buffy"). Yet we really dread hearing O'Moonlight say "Book 'em, Danno" to Scott Caan. Especially after Alex's last DOA series.

1. "Wright vs. Wrong" (ABC)
This does that annoying cutesy thing where the title makes a bad pun out of a character's name, and that's enough to make us hate it sight unseen. Debra Messing stars as a Republican pundit named Evelyn Wright (get it? get it?) whose personal life is put under the microscope because of her public image. It all just sounds like a cringeworthy show from the '80s.
